Montreal-based designer Marie Saint Pierre graduated from College LaSalle in 1986. Two years later, she launched her own label, and in 1991, she opened up her own specialty boutique.

Before she celebrated her 10th year in the business, Marie Saint Pierre had shown her collections on the Paris runways via the Canadian Embassy’s Cultural Center. She also showed at the tents in Bryant Park during the Fall 1997 New York season.

Considered an avant-garde designer, Marie Saint Pierre is known for her layering techniques and fluid lines, creating imaginative juxtaposition of textures and colors.
