Jura Coffee & Espresso Machines
The Jura brand is well known for its automatic espresso machines. The Switzerland-based company has distributors worldwide, including the United States and Canada. Whether for home use or commercial use, Jura provides only the best coffee machines, including accessories and maintenance products. Quality comes with a matching price tag, however, and Jura coffee machines generally start at $700. In return, you get the best espressos of your life and a machine that lasts for years.
Home Coffee Machines
Jura currently has six lines of home coffee machines: the Impressa Z, Impressa S, Impressa J, Impressa F, Impressa C and the ENA series. All machines work more or less the same way, but the more expensive models come with more features, more accessories and better materials.
Impressa Z7 One Touch
The Impressa Z7 makes eleven different kinds of coffee at the touch of a button. It has a rotary switch, a text display, an adjustable milk spout and a coffee preheating mechanism. It even shines a spotlight on your creation, a cool feature if you are entertaining and want to wow your guests.
Impressa S9 One Touch
The Impressa S9 is the S-line model with the most features. Besides one-touch lattes and cappuccinos, it also features an energy saving mode, a stainless steel milk container, a graphic menu, an adjustable coffee spout and a built-in cappuccino cleaning mechanism. The machine also monitors the grinders and alerts you when they need refilling.
IMPRESSA J9 One Touch
The best coffee machine in the Impressa J line is the Impressa J9 One Touch. You don’t have to be a barista to understand the controls either. Just choose what kind of gourmet coffee you want using the rotary selector, press a button and wait for your coffee to brew. The J9 features a clear TFT display, an adjustable spout for different cup sizes, fine foam technology, an aroma grinder that grinds fine beans in less time and an energy saving automatic off switch.
Impressa F50
The Impressa F50 uses a rotary switch for adjusting settings like water volume and temperature. It has a fully customizable cappuccino frother and a simple display that even beginners can understand. The connector system has separate nozzles for hot water and steam.
Impressa C9
The Impressa C9 is a compact machine that produces coffee, cappuccinos and espressos at the touch of a button. All settings (air infusion, brewing temperature, etc.) can be accessed through dials and buttons on the front center panel with a plain text display. The machine saves energy by automatically disconnecting from the mains electrical supply after each coffee preparation, meaning you don’t waste energy between making batches. It also comes with a cappuccino cleaning mechanism and an adjustable spout that can accommodate all cup sizes.
ENA 9 One Touch
Even more compact than the Impressa C9 is the ENA 9 One Touch. It is a sleek brewer designed for small homes. The ENA 9 creates six different products at the touch of a button, including coffee, macchiato, cappuccino and espresso. It features an adjustable spout to accommodate different container sizes, a mechanism that creates very fine foam and a button for shots of extra-strong brew.
Commercial Coffee Machines
Jura commercial coffee machines are designed for offices, function rooms and food service establishments. They work the same way as Jura home coffee machines, but are generally bulkier, heavier and built for high-volume use. They have more programming options, larger containers for coffee beans and larger water reservoirs.
Impressa X9 Platinum
The Impressa X9 makes more than 20 different types of coffee. You can even assign buttons to ten types of coffees or ten of the most frequently requested varieties. The Impressa X9 has two coffee grinders, two spouts for steam and hot water and automatic cappuccino spouts. It also has the usual adjustable spouts, built-in cleaning mechanism, graphics display and bean-level monitoring.
Impressa XS90 One Touch
The Impressa XS90 is the smaller version of the Impressa X9, designed for smaller commercial establishments. It can prepare 12 twelve different types of coffee and can be turned into a vending machine. It also has a separate container for powder coffee. Standard features include bean-level monitoring, energy savings mode and built-in cleaning mechanism.
