AQUART is a cultural, aquatic and subaquatic event, whose mission is to promote art, aquatic and subaquatic sports and the environment. The expostions are presented in interior pools and in many different exterior environments like in the Flintkote quarry in Thetford Mines, QC, the St-Lawrence river in Brockville, ON and other places where the water is limpid.

Since 2006, an annual accumulation of permanent art pieces in the Flintkote quarry makes it the first permanent underwater museum in the world. The presence on site of several renowned artists undoubtedly demonstrates the global potential of this unusual event
