2012 BMW 5-Series Road Test & Car Review

The 2012 BMW 5-Series resides in one of the most competitive automotive segments: the mid-sized luxury car class.  But the good news is BMW continues to be a leader year in and year out and the 2012 BMW 5-Series is no exception.  The 535 has a base price of $52,250 and comes with a turbocharged 3-Liter 6-cylinder engine that puts out 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft. of torque.  Fuel economy is great at 21 MPG in the city and 30 MPG on the highway.  The top of the line 550 model has a base price of $61,700 and comes packing a 400 horsepower V-8 engine.  The addition of an 8-speed automatic transmission allows the 2012 BMW 550 to get 15 MPG in the city and 22 MPG on the highway.
One really cool feature on the 2012 BMW 5-Series is the heads-up display.  This great piece of technology can show your current speed, driving directions, and it also acts in conjunction with the many safety systems on the 5-Series.  The 5-Series comes in many different forms and trim levels.  But you can expect the same great BMW heritage in the 2012 BMW 5-Series Luxury Sedan.
